I can't help but think the entire Eddie/Ennis team just made the shyt list with the Man from the Middle East. Obviously Eddie and Bozy did a lot of talking and as it turned out, it was just that, talk.
The irony is that Eddie may be forced to go back to 147 for a no name like Brain Norman and eat the cost just to salvage his reputation.

And furthermore, black fighters don't get smacked around by big Russians we smack them around. Ward vs Kovalev, James Toney vs Vasily Jirov, Haney vs Hoemachenko..... just to name a few

You said "Boots would get smacked around by big Russians" and I said "like Virgil got smacked around by a big Russian" and I said you wouldn't e avle to respond to that. And you responded "Boots karen Boots karen". So please try again and respond to Virgil getting smacked around by the big Russian

You see when Boots was with Showtime and Espinosa he wasn't getting the top tier fights but he fought often and was being progressed nicely. Espinosa had a strategic plan for him after Showtime got out the biz. He would take Boots to PBC where he would be one of a handful of PBC stars that would be showcased on Amazon. Boots, Tank, Spence, Canelo, Jermell, David (Morrell and Benny) and a few others. Boots would have had access to PBCs entire roster of 147 and 54. All he had to do was fight a d the business would've taken care of itself. But Boots jumped the gun for the quick and easy Matchroom cash. Now just after 2 fights Boots realizes Hearn has no plan no strategy and no future for him. He knows if he stays with MR every fight will be this chaotic clusterfuqk of Hearn desperately trying to string some BS together. And to add insult to injury, the only American promoter he has access to to try and make fights is Oscar. And after last weeks CLLLLAAPPP BBAACCKK TTHUURRDDAY how realistic do you think that is.Last edited by factsarenice; 12-02-2024, 01:38 PM.James Hunt likes this.

I'm pretty sure that had a lot to do with this. Even without Ortiz, Boots wade into 154 and one of those big Russians might eat his lunch.Last edited by BrankoB; 12-02-2024, 02:17 PM.
