Doubt we’ll see Edwards in a ring again after that performance.

        Of course we will

Hes 28. He can say he is retiring but he'll do a U turn on that once he needs some dough.

            Is it a real upset?

Yafai is olympic gold medalist that was genuinely one of the best amateurs in the world and looks physically superior to Edwards.

Yafai was clearly winning and dominating. I still think the fight was stopped too soon, not that Edwards objected much.

If you looked closely, quite a few punches missed, and he didn't go down.

He took punishment, for sure, was losing all the rounds, but in the UK the refs stop fights too quickly, ie. except where AJ is involved.

Awful performance by Edwards. Yafai did great but his opponent was not ready. Bam is two levels above these guys.

When Sunny is talking about how he doesn't have his legs and can't move after the first round, that's it for him. His style depends on legs. Disappointing, because the usual Sunny Edwards would at minimum have made that way more competitive. But goes to show that his style is very susceptible to bad days, and how much of a detriment lack of power is. He needs to find that fire if he wants to continue.

No matter what he has eight fights and is kind of green
The bookies had him as an underdog so no need to say more
And yes Yafai was physically superior but I thought he would get the ko in later rounds
Expected to see Sunny expose his experience until the shots became overwhelming but wasn’t the case
Not sure what he does being only 28 , imo he’ll make good coin over on your side of the pond as gatekeeper
                    Don’t think he’s finished
