Smith's confidence remains on the floor. He's a likeable guy and had real skills at 168lbs, but he's got too fragile a psyche to compete with the elites. How does a guy who fought on the biggest stage against legends end up fighting on the untelevised undercard of domestic-level flyweights in his next fight?

It was a stay busy fight against a nobody. The question is? Why even take this fight. He could have gotten more from a tough sparring session. I wonder how much that he got paid. Total mismatch!

If he isn't prepared to the maximum then he clearly doesn't feel he has a chance of winning aginst elite fighters.

I had zero idea he was even fighting. None. And I follow the 175 fighters pretty well. That seems.... odd.

Smith did exactly what he needed to, got the rounds in, and delivered a clinical finish. Having Stephen Smith in his corner seems to work well, but I can’t wait to see him back with Buddy McGirt for the bigger Buckshot Roulette fights. If he stays this focused, the light-heavyweight division better watch out!

Slow Eddie was stating that he can get him another fight with the elite

He was never that good to begin with, and he already cash out.

And the announcers though! The guy was talking about how Beter and Bivol are the top lhw but Smith is the top of the rest of them. Meanwhile he was fighting a guy with something like a 20-16 record.

                    Give me a beak.
