How can my opinions be worthless if they keep turning out correct? I said all along edwards is a bum, and he just got destroyed by someone with 8 fights. lol. I never said Yafai was a great fighter either, I just said he was more impressive than Bam was. Edwards has his moments vs Bam.

Because you don't understand why. You're acting like it's the same fighter in the ring each time. If you don't understand why Edwards not having the legs to move is relevant to his ability to perform, when his style depends almost entirely on that, your opinion is worthless. A debutante could destroy a guy who's not all there and isn't there to fight.

He might still be suffering the beating Bam put on him.
But he's fought in between the bam fight and this fight and was moving well..

So if his legs weren't there, it's not because of the Bam fight. Hes 28 too, so not age either.

Maybe he's carrying an injury and didnt want to use excuses because it's strange if he didn't even try to use movement.

I dont think Edwards is anything special but he used to be very slippery but he wasn't even trying to be, so it's definitely strange to not even attempt to be, especially when you're getting backed up.

Either he mentally checked out and couldn't be bothered moving, or he was carrying some kind of injury.

It's not a surprise Yafai won, its just a surprise that Edwards never even attempted to move.

How about giving his opponent some credit for cutting off the ring, not letting him breathe and breaking him down? How the hell is Sunny so highly rated anyway who did he ever beat?

Your legs can be not there on a single night. Doesn't mean you're shot, just that on the night, you're not 100%. Your legs just feel really heavy, like when you haven't warmed up, but they just don't get warmed up. I've had that happen to me on fight night a few times. You have to be able to win with a different strategy, but Sunny's entire game depends on his legs. Head movement alone ain't it, which we saw last night. Sunny was levels above Yafai in that department, but if you don't have power so they have to respect the shots coming back, head movement with no footwork is just a matter of time. He was apparently way better in the gym too, but off nights happen, and for Sunny, especially with the lack of motivation, that's apparently deadly.

Yafai didn't need to cut the ring because Sunny didn't try to move. So Yafai doesn't get credit for that, because he didn't need to do it. He did a great job applying consistent pressure, but how do you not even know what cutting the ring looks like? It's more than diagonal stepping. He just had to follow Sunny around and punch the punching bag because Sunny wasn't doing anything.

Sunny was moving until he got completely suffocated with pressure and volume and his spirit broken. This is all down to what Yafai did. Sunny didn't just randomly start sucking, as if Yafai got lucky or something like you are pretending.
