Comments Thread For: 'Dangerous' Tevin Farmer seeks rematch with William Zepeda

Fresh off a post-fight vacation in Zanzibar, Tevin Farmer returned to the US with plenty of thoughts -- and no shortage of swagger. The former junior-lightweight titleholder narrowly lost a split decision to William Zepeda in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but the performance only solidified his status as a top lightweight.

Farmer deserves it, it would draw a lot of interest, and I think Zepeda needs it if he wants to rehabilitate his image and prove he’s still the top contender at 135. That is If he doesn’t get undone by Farmer once again.

I thought Zepeda won by a slim margin. Watch the fight again and his activity won him the fight. Farmer gave a very good account for himself that I would not mind watching a rematch.

Farmer is a coward. The reason he didnīt get stopped against Zepeda was because he insisted the fight be a 10 rounder isntead of 12, which is the standard in championship fights. Besides that, he hugged and pushed Zepeda for half the fight, knowing Mexicans arenīt huggers. On top of that, Zepeda is Mexican living in Mexico so he doesnīt know how Afrian Americans move and that surprised him a bit. There are almost no African people in Mexico and certainly not a single Afro person in his home town.

I cannot imagine there would be any talk of a rematch in Oscar's living room. He would be saying - too dangerous, not enough money. Move on.

Congratulations , you win the prize for the dumbest shlt on the Internet today , maybe tomorrow too. You should delete that before the dummy pills wear off so you won't have to be embarrassed about typing that mess. When someone calls a professional fighter a coward , I already know that whatever comes next is going to be horseshlt.

I didn’t think the 1st fight was close but these judges are all over the place and very inconsistent so I don’t think Farmer efforts merit a rematch in my opinion.
