I am Australian and I am not so sure that Kambosos is a star, never mind super star in Australia. Quite frankly at this stage of his career any offer from Teo is a good offer. Other than an opportunity for a revenge, George does not have much to offer to Teo so he should take the money offered with both hands and say "thank you".

I’m making my basis on what I’ve read regarding their purses.

Kambosos earned a guaranteed $10 million purse, while Haney took home $2.8 million.
In the rematch, Haney made more because he was the champion and Kamboso agreed to it.

Haney's last purse was $2.42 million for his fight against Sandor Martin:

• Purse bid: Top Rank won the purse bid with a $2.42 million offer.
• Payout: Haney would have received 70% of the purse, which could have netted him $1.5 million.

So, while I may be mistaken about Haney being a superstar, he certainly brings in the money and fans if the fight happens in Australia.

I’ll maintain what I said, George has more to offer Teo than Teo has to offer George.
