If all Chisora wants is 50 fights, man I wish he would line up a couple of scrubs to end his career on. I hate the idea of him losing to a guy like Wallin. He could have gone out with a nice roar with that win over Joyce that I missed on (seriously, how many more times do I need to be wrong on Joe Joyce for me to get the message?), to a possible whimper if he gets peppered with light jabs all night and losses to Wallin.
No offense to Wallin, who has carved out a nice living being a limited fighter, but he IS very much a limited fighter and Chisora has fought a way better caliber of opponents and been through way more wars. He is the ultimate "B" level boxer, the warrior who took on everyone and while rarely won he almost never disappointed in his effort. (Third fight with Fury being ignored for this post.) But man is he pushing the limits of his future health. It just isn't worth it. Wallin could connect most of the night if Chisora does not perform well early and it could get ugly. If he wins this, please find an Uber driver with a nice beer belly to get that 50th fight and call it a career. Please.Last edited by landotter; 11-28-2024, 12:53 AM.
