I agree 100% with that statement. You didn't need to mention the tip-top shape as a requirement for winning, I think is an understatement. They both have to coming in shape.
Following normal logic, yes. But there have been instances in the past where a fight was won by a fighter who was not 100%, or even the best on the night (Jorge Castro vs John David Jackson comes to mind among the many).
