I'd love to know the thought process behind bringing Paro back to Puerto Rico ? Surely Australia would be a better fit for a new Australian Champion ? How many Puerto Ricans are going to be excited to go watch the guy who knocked off the guy who was their last next big hope ? What am I missing here ?
Unless they're planning for Subriel to slide out from under the ring with a steel chair while the referee is distracted and knock Paro out , costing him the title. It's the only way that it makes sense to me.

Was Paro and Matias both Matchroom? If so, maybe Eddie was expecting Matias to win and had already booked a venue for something bigger planned but Paro ruined it?

By the way, one thing I found funny in the article: Of Paro’s finest hour, against Matias, Hitchins added: “The world is hyping Liam up because he beat Matias…. It wasn’t rocket science to beat Matias.”

Maybe, in anticipation of a Paro win, they will immediately hype a Paro-Matias rematch.
That would do decent box office in PR.
So yeah, Matias may enter the ring but not to schwack Paro in the head with a metal folding chair WWE style but do the call-out for the mics and cameras.
