Here is my original reply to you:

"Not defending Cryan, as I believe him to be of low character, but what makes you believe the bolded part of your post???"

I'll ask again, but if you can't or don't want to answer, don't straw man the point or question please.

What makes you believe the bolded part of your post???

You have no idea what a straw man argument is. Since, Haney’s loss, Ryan’s subsequent positive tests/suspension, and more recently, Haney’s law suit, people have been attacking Haney and calling him all types of names. Now, imagine if Haney was the one who tested positive? If he’s innocent one getting treated like a stepchild, just imagine if he was the guilty one? I am saying this not as a Haney fan, but as someone who wish to see the integrity of the sport maintained. Go back and view the narrative following the fight instead of trying to gaslight someone, buddy.

People were attacking Haney and calling him all sorts of names before the test results. Some of the hate comes from those who's favorite boxer Haney may have defeated as well as Ryan fanboys. Shoot, the Haney's have said some silly things that rub folks the wrong way, such as "no white boy can beat me", "Devin is the face of boxing" etc..

It is a fact that Ryan has a much bigger following than Devin so it stands to reason that Devin will receive more criticism than Ryan, it's just the nature of the beast. I believe that if the roles were reversed and Ryan had been the one to file a battery lawsuit against Haney he would be the one getting dumped on just like Haney is now.

I think Haney is a talented fighter and a good solid kid for the most part, but I think he is going for the villain role a la Floyd and when you choose to be the villain, you're gonna get a tremendous amount of hate, it goes with the territory. Floyd played the role perfectly but backed everything up with victories and made a killing..
