It would definitely level the playing field.

Right now the top money earners are protected and the standards are applied based on that.

    .
it would certainly change things but the free market is just that, u could end up in a situation where the victor contes of this world will develop the 'best peds' which are yes, very very expensive & only within reach of those who can pay, therefore widening the gap between the haves and the have nots

We could fix everything like this. Problem with bank robberies? Make it legal to rob banks.

He is right. These testing bodies are just as corrupt as everybody else in the business. They're selective in who they want to expose, or they're doing it on a random basis. They're not credible in exposing only 1 to 2 ped users every year out of hundreds. And when they do announce positive test results, fight is already over. What's the point?

Only seen him fight the once, huh?

Sunny Edwards' boxing style is as pure as the driven snow, he rarely gets close enough to anyone to land a deliberate headbutt lol.

It's a fkd up sport, no doubt about it. Ryan Garcia tested positive, yet they allowed the fight to happen.
You'd wonder what's the point of all these testing in the first place. And Garcia got sued, not the commission
or whoever is responsible for letting the fight happen despite the positive results. Truly a fkd up sport.

I can certainly understand his argument. If your not going to subject ALL boxers to 365 testing (like the ufc with its entire roster) then you really shouldn't test anyone, it's absolutely pointless. To those saying it would widen the gap with haves and have nots, well I think that's untrue. The really expensive "designer" peds that are impossible/difficult to catch already exist and are extremely expensive. If you legalize it you would open the door to much more possible producers, increasing the supply and ease of access to them, thereby lowering costs and you could also even regulate the industry by being able to test what they're putting out to make sure there's no poor quality peds that could harm people far worse, simply not knowing exactly what they are getting/putting into their body because it's no longer just on the black market. But of course there are downsides to it, yes some people will take it to extremes and harm themselves but one could argue those ppl are going to find other ways to harm themselves whether it's legal or not.

If Sunny is on peds he wasted his money. Maybe it doesn't work the same all the time? Nah, that's the issue. When fighters are clean they look like Sunny.
