What is your favourite Floyd Mayweather, Jr. fight?

Personally, I liked his fight with Gatti and Canelo.

Yourself? What are your favourite Mayweather fights?

Mayweather fights don't have much replay value, the build-up was always far more enjoyable than the bouts.

If I was forced to watch a fight of his, I'd probably choose Ortiz as it was a good laugh.

Castillo 1. You could see how he repeatedly frustrated Castillo in every area.

I get why his performance against Arturo Gatti might be a fan favorite, that version of Floyd displayed the more refined skillset that transitioned well at 147-154 but he was still being a aggressive boxer puncher, he still retained his punching power and was at his physical best while fighting a similar sized hard hitting fighter compared to being the smaller fighter at Welterweight where his hands already took too much of a toll.

Personally I like his fights with Chico Corrales, Arturo Gatti and Miguel Cotto in terms of entertainment.

Mayweather vs Maidana I-II is also quite entertaining, but that's due to the Argentinian. To be honest, many of Mayweather's fights are just not really worth rewatching outside of a select few. But those that are, are pretty great options.

For me it was Chico Corrrales. At that time he was considered a beast and the fight with Canelo. He just showed how good he was.
Yes, a couple boxers gave him a hard time but NONE of them out classes him and stayed in the pocket with him like Mayweather did. NOBODY stays in the pocket with Canelo.

Yeah, it's not wise to stay in the pocket with Canelo considering he is a very vivid body puncher.

In saying that, Mayweather used the philly shell to protect his body during the onslaught of being infront of Canelo so the shots weren't 100% connected. But Mayweather is a brilliant technician inside the ring.

None were that good as he either didn't fight who you wanted to, or when you wanted him to.

Aw c'mon. He fought Carlos Baldymir when he was at his peak.

The fight was so action packed, the crowd left early just so they could catch the replay immediately at home

                  - - The one where l'l floydy tried to choke out Maidana by stuffing his glove into his mouth whilst holding Maidana in a head lock. l'l floydy ended up stopping the fight by running squallin' to he crack daddy, a clear DQ of l'l floydy.

Never seen anything like it in my life save for Popkins squallin' like a kicked school grrl down on the canvas anytime he got hurt

Chico Corrales and El Famoso Hernandez. The Corrales fight really was Floyd's coming out party where he destroyed an opponent who many thought would beat him.

The Hernandez fight was compelling because Floyd hurt his hand so bad he touched his glove to the canvas. El Famoso put him under duress and the HBO cameras continued to pan their cameras on Hernandez's beautiful wife who was ringside.
