Looking at the photos they are about the same size. Benavidez always had a huge size advantage at 168. As we saw in his last fight, that advantage is now gone at 175. Both guys looked average in their first fight at 175. Concidence? Perhaps the quality of their opposition? My guess is that what happens to everyone when they move up in weight has happened to them - you lose your natural advantages and the knock outs go away.

David also used to have superb stamina at 168. In his last fight, he was gassed after 6 rounds. Did not have to work hard to get the extra 7 pounds off? There are many questions, but the good news is we finally get to find out the truth when they meet in the ring.

Honestly speaking , I don’t believe Benny had problems with his hands and more likely that was damage control imo
Morrell fought the better of the two , again imo , Hot Rod is not a guy who drops easily
I actually thought he won the fight if awarded I wouldn’t have had a problem with it

It'd be a great fight even without a word of trash uttered, but here they still are. Couple of months ago they were complimentary of each other. This just feels... old. Worn out. The whole compulsory 'beef' thing feels like a bygone relic of this crooked sport. Probably just me, though.

Yeah , I'm with you , they're professionals , I'd rather they act like it instead of like a couple of high school punks. I've never needed to hate on anyone to bust their ass. Just them wanting to fight me is plenty.
