Comments Thread For: BoxingScene's Midweek Mailbag: Your thoughts on Mike Tyson losing to Jake Paul, Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano 2, William Zepeda-Tevin Farmer

In this week's mailbag, we tackle the meaning of it all -- not life in general, not this time at least, but rather just what we should take out of Mike Tyson returning to the ring at the age of 58 for a unanimous decision loss to Jake Paul.

Michael Irvin claims that it was contractually agreed that Tyson was disallowed from throwing uppercuts, and that the fight had to go the distance in order for him to receive a full payout. I don't know how he would know this, but a lot of people are biting on it. It's pretty sad that people can't accept the fact that Mike is old, and that video editing for marketing is a real thing.

Apologist or not, I'm not impressed with Katie's put her head down and throw blind punches routine.

It's about time somebody called out Katie's gift decisons.

This is why I say she's Canelo in female form.

You gotta almost kill her to get a decision against her.

That only makes Chantelle's' victory over her even more impressive.
