Let's face it, Jake Paul IS the Face of Boxing

Jon Jones? It just shows ta go ya, that personality and star grooming are IMPORTANT in any branch of the entertainment industry, including sport and most especially, individual sport.
Give us a charismatic fighter who can really FIGHT, and you have something there. Make them a white American, and he'll become a top recognizable star in sports among white Americans.
Jake is all of these things with the exception of the He can fight" part.
He's a good athlete who works very hard at his technique and conditioning, and now has some experience. But the jury is still out.
Lots of opportunities now for this decade's noventy act.
Some, I've ranked from Highest risk to Lowest risk:
He Can't win:
1. Daniel Dubois
2. Artur Beterbiev
3. Canelo Alvarez
4. Gilberto Ramirez
5. Andre Ward
He can actually Prove something:
6. Francis Ngannou
7. Kevin Lerena
8. Vitor Belfort
He'd probably win:
9. Oliver McCall
10. Jon Jones
11. Connor McGregor
As limited as Jake Paul is, Dana White would never do that. His brand would take a MAJOR hit if he John were to lose to Paul…….and I don’t think he would lose to Paul.Comment

He is
People on here are in denial. He might not be the face of boxing on a forum like this, but this forum has about a few dozen nerds, that's it.
When it comes to mainstream culture worldwide, Paul is probably the face of boxing, followed by the likes of Fury.

Jake Paul would beat Jones in a boxing match, no doubt about it.
We all know Paul isn't gonna beat any decent pro boxer, but he'll beat other athletes in a boxing match. Hes honestly not bad at all if you take it for what it is, not pro boxing.

100%...no REAL boxing fan considers Jake Paul a legit boxer let alone the 'face' of boxing! Instead, they acknowledge him for exactly what he is...an average fighter who would get sparked the minute he steps up in competition and an embarrassment to the sport. Ditto for his brother, Tommy Fury and the like!Comment

The Weebler, you’re from the old days on here…Injust noticed you joined the same month that Hatton fought Floyd.
Damn, man…can’t believe it’s been 17 years alreadyComment

Yeah time flies, I'm not sure precisely when I joined as my first account got banned by Big Poppa Pump for ripping on the refereeing in that bout
but it definitely in the run-up to the Mayweather-Hatton fight. NSB is still better than modern social media for shooting the breeze about boxing, although I don't follow it very closely any more, will only catch 2-3 big fights a year.
