Did they even attempt to make an offer to Edwin De Los Santos, at least? Roach is a total nobody. Even hardcores are barely familiar with this guy.

Since Tank Davis has left Floyd Mayweather promotions 'The architecture of his career, has not really been clear. Mayweather was actually doing really good work at building Tank Davis into one of boxing's premier Champions'.

Gervonta Tank Davis is at the stage of his career, where he needs to be involved in more mega fights 'The fight vs Vasily Lomachenko really should of been happening right now, in my opinion. Surely his team could of made a offer to Lomachenko, that made it very difficult for him to turn down' i.e Maybe stage the fight in Poland, and create a very attractive opportunity for Vasily Lomachenko'.

Note: But I know historically speaking, American based fighters and Champions 'Very rarely want to fight outside of America. Bernard Hopkins once stated? That sometimes fighting in a different state is like travelling abroad in America, because the country is so vast and the culture's can be different in all of those American states'.

If Gervonta Davis is not competing in mega fights, then the next best move for him 'Is to just maintain his titles, and accumulate statistics. That is all he is really doing with his next fight'.

I just personally think, there seems to be a lack of motivation 'From Gervonta Tank Davis and his team, to pursue the mega fights in the light Welter Weight Division. And that fight is vs Vasily Lomachenko'.

To conclude: Once Gervonta Tank Davis has fought Vasily Lomachenko, and if he wins that fight 'Then he has pretty much taken on his biggest, and most significant challenge in that division. The criticism his fights would receive after this point would be considerably less. Tank Davis after achieving such a feat, could then just maintain his titles and accumulate statistics. Until he competes in another mega fight'.

This is precisely what Canelo Alvarez is doing at this stage of his career 'Alvarez has taken on 99.99% of his nearest competition, in all the weight divisions he has ever fought in. Alvarez has won multiple World titles, and is the current Undisputed Super Middle Weight Champion. The pressure on Alvarez to pursue mega fights, is less than it is for Gervonta Tank Davis'.

Gervonta Tank Davis has not reached this level in the game, but it appears like Tank Davis and his team believe he has. Overall the boxing architects of Gervonta Tank Davis's career, I think they can do better at pursuing more significant fights for him. The time is now for Tank Davis to take on his challenges, because he has clearly been in great form' etc.

        May Canelo-Munguia
        June Tank-Martin, Benavides-Gvozdyk
        Sept Canelo-Berlanga
        Oct Murtazaliev-Tszyu

Next year so far it seems like:
        Feb Benavides-Morrell, Figueroa-Fulton
        March Tank-Roach
        May Canelo-Eubank...?
Carnela completed his 3 fight deal with pbc. He might go back to dazn for Eubank. Unless he makes haymon bend the knee again and drag a non pbc fighter to amazon

How is this a money fight? Even Floyd was pressured to fight someone perceived to beat him because people watch to see him lose. Davis' last fight tanked.

I think Califire is insinuating that Tank is more concerned with getting a payday. He can care less about fighting a quality opponent; he can care less if the fans view him as being less than a legend, when it's all said and done.

Tank probably changed the date of this fight because he didn't want to share the stage or money/split with Benavidez.

The only thing I'll say in defense of Tank is, the win/loss records of his last few opponents are impressive. So while he's facing guys that he should be able to beat, he's not fighting total bums.

We're in an age where the women want to be men and men want to be like the women. Women want to do it alone, don't need a man. Men don't care either and self respect is unnecessary as long as they get paid, like street walkers.

Lets just agree Tank isn't looking to challenge himself or take on any big risks. He wants everything on his terms and plans to fight once per year to replenish the money he wastes on luxury cars, bling and strippers.
