Not so sure but he did have 1.2 million reasons and seems like his balls didn’t come about

Maybe he will be encouraged to sign the contract to fight Boots now, or maybe it is just bulsshhiiitt talk. I vote for bullsshhioit talk.

By the way, just to clarify he was offered $1.7M to fight Boots, he rejected it and then accepted his next fight for some $200K.

Norman beating Santillan is miles ahead of anything Boots has done. Why would he accept less than 50/50 for the Boots fight?

The only thing Boots has that Norman doesn't is a ton of hype. Boots needs a lot of improvement on defense and he needs to beat some really good fighters before he can be considered some bogeyman. He just got taken 12 by Karen and got drilled multiple times.

Norman vs Boots is a toss up. Hearn lowballed Norman because he doesn't want to chance a loss on his investment.

I have to agree. There are two reasons Eddy passes on any fighter. He isn't getting a cut of the second party and his ward is at risk. He doesn't have confidence in Boots. If Boots has to lose, he wants to get Boots beat cheap.

Brian Norman Jr turned down a fight with Ennis for a good payday. I don’t want to hear anything that comes out of his mouth.

I'm not saying Ennis isn't a talent. I'm saying Eddy has a business style affecting his career. Eddy buys talent, exploits talent, he doesn't build it. He sells zombies and things.

Again, not sure how an almost $2 million dollar offer to fight Ennis is "lowballing" Norman.
Several of Canelo's opponents have received $3 million plus PPV purses in the past and thats been vs the face of boxing.

Most people had never heard of Norman before the Santillan fight. So almost $2 million to fight another not well know fighter seem plenty generous to me.
I guess Norman Jr. can just go back to defending his belt for $200k purses in undercards.
