The author of this article is taking this way too seriously. I've seen actual REAL fights that left a bad tatse in my mouth, like Mayweather vs Pacquiao. That fight cost $100, but looked more like a sparring match. Tyson vs Paul? That shit was free, son!

Only problem I had was not being able to watch it due to the glitching and buffering. Netflix should get into the boxing business, it would swiftly take it over in the USA

If people didn't watch it, nobody would try to make it happen because there wouldn't be money in it. But Texas shouldn't have sanctioned it.

I think there's a tendency to think of Mike as a victim who has no money, but the guy has "Tyson University", a successful podcast, and a successful brand.

I don't think he needs money at this point.

He just doesn't know who he is without boxing, which is sad

            Who killed Davey Moore?
Why, and what’s the reason for?

“Not us,” says the angry crowd
Whose screams filled the arena loud
“It’s too bad he died that night
But we just like to see a fight
We didn’t mean for him to meet his death
We just meant to see some sweat
There is nothing wrong in that
It wasn’t us that made him fall
No, you can’t blame us at all“

            (Bob Dylan)

This Tuesday night, November 19, 59-year-old former WBC heavywelght champion Oliver “The Atomic Bull” McCall (59-14, 38 KOs) takes on Stacy Frazier (16-22, 15 KOs) in an officially sanctioned four round bout at the Troubadour Theater in Nashville Tennessee. The McCall-Frazier fight, presented on promoter Jimmy Adams’ CountryBox series, will stream on Triller TV.
That is disgusting. I’m glad Triller tried to do become a player but instead became like the off brand of the off brand of boxing. Two degrees…I’ve heard people like Kovalev years ago fell into a legal dispute because they were failing to pay him according to the contracts.

Overall shady and they stagnated rapidly. Came out blazing with the early Jake Paul cards and concerts in between…but they realized quick how deep in the red you get with these cards and why very few en****** succeed.

Shame on everyone involved in making that fiasco. It was most likely in the contract that Paul agreed to not throw a single right hand with full power on it because of how bad of a stain that would have put on Boxing if Tyson was knocked out at his age in the ring with a sht for brains Paul. Pure shame from the whole thing.
I didn't watch it but I'm seeing multiple clips where it looks like Tyson pulled his punches to avoid knocking out Paul.

It is 100% not on those who made it. It is all on those who over hype Tyson especially at 58 yrs old and got excited over his 20 second training clips. Crazy that there are loads of those idiots still claiming it was a set up so Tyson doesn't hurt the youtuber when in reality it more fixed so that the youtuber does not hurt Tyson

I guess it depends on which record we're talking about. McCall will only break the age record. I thought you were speaking in terms of spectacle.
