Barboza was fast, alert and determined. Liked his movement and use of the ring. Overall good performance. Albeit against a slightly diminished and uninspired Ramirez.

I think his last performance likely affected his odds. Ramirez was perceived having the better resume and being more proven. I was split on my pick for this one. I've never been too high on Ramirez and suspected he was shopworn at this stage but Barboza always seemed basic to me and his last fight was a very uninspiring.
