Anyone thinking we were going to roll the clock back to when Reagan was president is delusional. Tyson looked about the same 20 years ago against McBride so I don’t see why anyone is surprised at this ****show.
Then why would didn’t he allow Mike to hit him? If he carried him. Mike allowed Roy Jones to hit him when they fought their exhibition.

While Tyson's body is remarkable for a 58yo, his stamina is very poor, even for the age. I wonder why.

He played it safe by fighting out of range from.getting hit. He respected Tyson’s power. Dude basically ran from Iron Mike the whole fight.
Lmao, I hope ur being sarcastic man.

It was dead obvious disneyboy was holding himself back. Mike couldn't even deal with his own legs. That sht was painful to watch.

I am not disagreeing with you. The fight itself was poorly scripted and very boring to watch. You are right. Towards the end Mike was badly gassed and his legs were gone.

My biggest take away from this fight is why was Jake so reluctant and petrified of allowing Mike Tyson to land a few, good and clean punches on him.

It would have been more entertaining to watch. Instead, he just decided to keep the action on the outside. Where Mike couldn’t reach him or have a puncher’s chance.

in 4 days, Tyson's record will be broken. Former champ, Oliver McCall is going to fight in a sanctioned fight.

That's the thing, in your forties and older, especially after fifty, your mind can see things to do but sometimes the body doesn't respond.

You see the openings to punch, to slip and slide, to move in a certain way, but yeah, what can you do when the body isnt as sharp as when younger.

A fight in say, a bar, or the streets, it doesn't last long and much stamina isn't required. In a prize fight though, you can be breathing heavily even after a few rounds.

We remember Mike for the great excitement he gave us all in his fights.

Why didn't he allow Mike to hit him??? Is that a sign of a good boxer? Allowing your opponent to hit you??? I mean I remember seeing GGG do it a few times but he's a freak
and I really wouldn't recommend it for long term brain health. I think you're going to get hit enough by a decent opponent regardless so "allowing" someone to hit you probably
isn't the best strategy. The best punch Mike landed was the slap the day before...

He carried him by VISIBLY backing off. I know everyone wants a 20 year old Tyson, but on THIS night Jake Paul could've really hurt him.

Jake carried him. People still fantasize about Tyson's heyday but that has been over for years. In his final years as a fighter he was loosing to C level competition.
