I didn’t score the fight. It just seemed to me Amanda won, especially with the point deduction. I was surprised when the decision was announced. On the other hand, I wasn’t sure the headbutts were intentional. Roy Jones didn’t think so, either. We all know orthodox fighters and southpaws often clash heads. I thought for sure the fight would be stopped after the gash was opened further. Took some grit for Serrano to fight through that. They’re both some gutsy women.Comment

I thought Serrano won the fight outright
Taylor is getting the benefit of doubt fighting in-spurts the way she hasComment

As I said 20% minority if that. I can name of more than twice the amount of boxers and respected journalists that scored the fight a clear win for Serrano if you want to start doing that lol. Just face it. A small minority of “afficianados” think Taylor won. I’ve watched the 12th round 3 times right before I wrote this post there’s no way anyone can give Taylor the 12th round lol. She won the last 15 seconds of the round unbelievable that boxing “experts” seem to think one or 2 sharp counters at the end of a round erase 2:30 of work lol. It’s like I said people who watch a fight know who won. If you ask me I’d call both Taylor/serrano 1 and 2 draws because as a whole body of work it’s hard to say either won the whole fight. Add in Taylor was dirty with the headbutts she was getting her a$$ handed to her till she started butting the fight wasn’t even close till she busted up serrano with her head. It’s just a bad look for boxing. There have been worse decisions but that was probably the highest profile female fight of all time and to have the majority of the people watching feeling like the decision was terrible is a bad reputation for boxing to the general public. And don’t try to say boxing politics had nothing to do with it. How many shows a year does MVP promotions run? How many shows does matchroom boxing run? It’s just ****** of you to try discount those factors it shows you don’t really understand the dynamics of boxing politics let alone what’s happening in the ring lol.Comment

This . Taylor would fight in spurts and land one or 2 sharp counters then go back to taking a beating she’d time those bursts to the last 20/30 seconds of a round and she was getting given those rounds on the scorecard lol. Matchroom chef cooked it up sorry MVP promotions better start doing more shows and getting turki money for people or serrano will NEVER get a fair shake vs TaylorComment

Sometimes you look at what you believe to be a bad decision and automatically think the winner got some kind of favoritism. Manny Pacquiao was on the losing end of one of the worst robberies ever in the first Bradley fight. I literally couldn’t wrap my mind around that one, as I not only thought the winner was glaringly clear, but couldn’t see an angle for robbing Pacquiao either. I’m hoping that AI can help save boxing. One of the things that has hurt the sport since forever are bad decisions.Comment
