That scoring is disgraceful especially the last round. Taylor got rocked all round and landed 2 punches in an exchange at the end Amanda backed off cause why exchange like that when u dominated the round and the judges gave the round to to Katie lol. Just terrible she got rewarded for fighting blatantly dirty and STILL losing but somehow winning lol.

Serrano and her corner don't know how to beat Katie Taylor. They made the same mistakes as the first fight. They allowed Taylor to win at least 4 of the last 5 rounds to win the fight. Serrano needs to get rid of that dirt bird in her corner. He's a terrible boxing coach who doesn't know a plan B. Serrano walked forward the whole fight into Katie fast counters. Going for the ko for 10 rounds against Katie Taylor is a bad game plan. She has the best chin in female boxing. Any other boxing commission in charge of that fight tonight would have stopped it after round 5. Disgraceful to risk Serrano eye sight with that cut. Correct decision in my opinion . Was it 95-94 all 3 judges? Serrano will never beat Taylor with that lowlife in her corner.

I totally agree. If this trainer "knew" Katie headbutts her opponents, there should have been a plan in place. This was the biggest fight in women's boxing, south paw vs orthodox, & it's on the corner to have a plan in place.
Horrible job by the corner.
And honestly, the fight should have been stopped after the butt.
That was really ignorant to risk permanent damage to that eye.

You need to rewatch the round, KT won it for sure. Amanda maybe had slightly higher punch output, so a bit busier, but KT landed noticeably more clean, quality shots, which is what judges score.

TX is a big Latino and African American region although I feel like this is a NYC kinda fight. The pbc loyalists are out here bashing KT but it’s rascism when one of theirs.

If that’s the case about Texas then that’s the perfect time to pull off the racist robbery. Taylor was getting her azs whooped and she deliberately started diving in with her head. This was a complete robbery by the judges. Even a point deduction didn’t help

Katie Taylor shoe shined in spots, it was flashy but not much landing and not effectively hard. Even with the point deducted for the excessive headbutts could not help Amanda. It is a shame that such a good fight got marred by such a bad decision. You could. not even justify a draw.
