Comments Thread For: Martin Bakole could be set for Zhilei Zhang as Agit Kabayel goes in another direction
German heavyweight and IBF No. 3 Agit Kabayel (25-0 or 27-2, take your pick) has pulled out of the IBF eliminator against IBF No. 4 Martin Bakole (21-1) in a surprising move.

What's up with the four potential fights on Kabayels record ? Did he do some of that one round stuff ? Team Combat Boxing , I think that is the name of it. If you're going to put something baffling like that in the article , more information would be nice.
I wouldn't say it was a surprising move, more or less expected. Apparently the fight was originally slated for the Usyk-Fury II undercard in Riyadh with both set to earn well, but with it going to purse bids instead the money involved figured to be a lot less and Kabayel said no thanks.
Kayabel is number 2 on the WBC Rankings so maybe he's trying for the Fury-Usyk winner.
He''s 5 on WBA and 4 on the WBO so it looks like the IBF doesn't matter as much to him.
Bakole seems dangerous when it's not even for a belt.
But then again, what do I know. (Seems like the author of the article doesn't know either. LOL)
