I wasn’t impressed with either one of their last fights, especially Morrell’s, so hopefully he looks better this time around, they are all entitled to a bad night.

I knew going in Morrell would struggle with Hot Rod and Benavidez would have his hands full with Gvozdyk. They were fighting two very good fighters in a higher weight class. I believe Hot Rod has only lost to Stevenson and Gvozdyk has only lost to Beterbiev.

I am glad this is official. But like a ton of others have said, if you want PPV dollars, there better be PPV reasons to buy it. Load up the undercard and I might fork over the cash and have some friends over. If not, I will be glad to just read about it.

The undercards suffer from the same issues as the headliners — no one of note wants to fight each other. It’s plaguing the sport. Everyone gets hyped about the main event, only to be let down by the lead-up.

I am very much looking forward to this fight ! Thanks are in order for both guys for having the testicular fortitude to make this fight. I like the way that both of them fight but I've got to go with my Cuban cousin in this one. I hope that this fight lives up to its potential.
