Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn proposes Karen Chukhadzhian-Blair Cobbs

Blair "The Flair" Cobbs made an unexpected appearance at the IBF welterweight titleholder Jaron "Boots" Ennis' fight on Saturday night in Philadelphia. Cobbs may have been hoping to build interest in a showdown with Ennis, but Matchroom's Eddie Hearn proposed a different match-up -- Cobbs against Karen Chukhadzhian.

        That’s a good fight
        I’d pick Karen over Cobbs

Agreed. I like Blair, he's entertaining and he is willing to take on anyone. There are levels however and Karen looks just too skilled for The Flair. I think it could provide and entertaining bout however.

It's interesting how much Karen's reputation has changed based off his performance in the Boots fight. And for good reason. Definitely an instance where someone wins from a loss.

This is how Eddy works. In order to fight Ennis, Karen had to sign up. Now Eddy has him by the options. Fight Eddys boy and be Eddys boy.

Can't wait for Eddie to propose giving up on American boxing since he's tried his best to ruin it!

If I was advising The Flair , I'd tell him to take the fight against Chuckhadzian. It's better than wasting more years doing absolutely nothing.

He really had nowhere to go but up after the first Ennis debacle. That was one major shltting of the bed. Karen looked like he would give a lot of guys at 147 trouble, if not beat them.

Eddys heart isn't in it. He would rather spend his time promoting English zombies. American boxers are too expensive but nothing is too good for his homie.
