He shouldn’t need money after the career he had. Very sad.

How was he used when he signed up, got paid and decided to brawl and mess up his eye ? People gotta manage their own health and wealth. Now if you think fighters should get better benefits then it needs to be government regulated like the other major american sports that give their players a pension and health insurance but people never want to push that. And this statement goes for all the fighters Ali, Frazier, Bowe, G-men, Maverick Taylor, Jermain Taylor and etc.

Unfortunately theory they got was garbage! War like his and Marquez had should have had been paid millions, guaranteed they only got thousands! Remember they don’t get health insurances either. So the suffering is real.

It discusses me the fact, that a warrior like him gets criticize for his devoted action to give us the fans the most exciting fights. You casual fan, please don’t criticize his career! You don’t understand the boxing world and how much these great warriors get abused by promoters and managers. The money in these lower classes are very low, and after they pay all of their expenses some of them end up with $75K purses for them. Would you survive with $75K a year? This is why they fight so hard in one year to make the most to give a better life to their families. Thank you Israel for giving us your warrior spirit! Thank you so much for giving us the great fights. God bless and keep fighting like you did in the ring.
