Mason didn't even remotely need to go through that second knockdown, he was just being bloody minded trying to land that uppercut to prove that he could after the first knockdown lol.

Landed it in the end but still, a stubborn fighter comes unstuck eventually & Abdullah seems too good for that so he'll learn.

I don't know if this is such a good sign. Vazquez is low on the pole for power, 60 watt maybe.

I agree , I think that he learned even during the fight to be more patient and not try to force the KO. Instead of going wild , keep doing what it was that got you the KD. This is only going to make him better.

Vasquez had some pop in those punches and was able to sneak it in right on Mason's chin during exchanges. It's a shame he injured his ankle after the first KD.

Noticed that in his previous fight he went to Poland as an opponent and sparked out a dude with a 30-0 record. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight again.

Those two would never just brawl. Schofield would switch to his faster feet and hands. And only one of them has proven they can fight hard in a brawl and against a higher level opponent than Mason's last opponent and that is Schofield.

I am in two minds as to whether this is a good or a bad thing for Mason. On the one hand, the way he recovered and took care of business is incredible, but on the other hand the way he got clipped twice is something to be worried about. If he was in the ring with someone more accomplished with a bigger punch, those two mistakes would have been deadly and he would have never recovered.

Huh?? 26 wins with 21 KO's is not low on the power.
