They are both elite level in terms of athleticism, which comprises of two levels 'Athletic skill and then Athletic attributes, overall those two components combined together create Athleticism'. Sometimes you may get athletes who have a really high level of athletic skills, but then their athletic attributes may not be of the same level and vice versa'.

Athletic skills are components of fitness, such as Co-ordination, Dexterity, Spatial Awareness, Agility. And athletic attributes are components of fitness, such as Power, Maximum Strength, Power to Weight Ratio, Speed, Speed Endurance, Lactate Threshold, Aerobic Capacity: VO2 Max.

If you analyse both Mike Tyson and David Haye, you can rate their Athletic skills and Athletic Attributes 'Overall both Haye and Tyson, are quite well rounded and varied in their athletic abilities'.

A fighter like Amir Khan, was extremely dominant with specific Athletic skills and Athletic attributes 'But then in other areas, his abilities where below par compared to his best attributes. There was a distinct decrease in his abilities, in specific areas of his athleticism'.

There is only really one area, where David Haye may be superior to Mike Tyson 'And that is movement, but this is very difficult to judge. Because? I believe that pressure fighters, and being able to track down and close the distance vs opponent's. This is actually a underrated skill, and to achieve such a feat? A fighter would need to have supreme movement. Especially if that fighter was competing in a open class Heavyweight Division, against fighters who consistently outweighed them'.

For me personally, at his peak as a Heavyweight fighter or Cruiserweight fighter 'I would rate David Haye as a better fighter than Oleksandr Uysk. Haye beat all the major fighters in the Cruiserweight Division, and he won his fights by knock-out. David Haye was the Lineal and Unified Cruiserweight World Champion, and he achieved all of those feats in a more difficult manner than Oleksandr Uysk. Haye had to invade countries, and beat those Champions the old fashion way. No Super Sixx tournament was created for him'.

7th November 2009 'David Haye fought Nikola Valuev, in a fight where he was being outweighed by 7 stone. Haye weighed in at 218 pounds, vs Valuev 315 pounds. The total the weight differential in pounds between the two fighters was 98 pounds. The fight was billed as David vs Goliath.

Note: You don't achieve those level of feats in a sport like boxing, without not only being a great fighter skill for skill 'But also having great athleticism'.

David Haye was my fighter, but you would have to rate Mike Tyson overall as the greater athlete 'With a higher level of Athleticism. Mike Tyson's Brute Strength, Power, Speed, and potentially even power to weight ratio may have been greater than David Haye's'.

And just think for a second? David Haye in terms of pure athleticism, is most likely one of the most talented boxers the UK 'Has produced in the past 30 years. Prince Naseem Hamed, David Haye, Amir Khan. When you think about who are the great athletes in British boxing, that could also fight. Those are the three fighters who most evidently match that description'.

Fighters such as Tyson Fury 'Time has already proven that, his athletic abilities are very good. But have also been overrated. Tyson Fury is losing fights, which stylistically should be straight forward for him as a so called? All time great Heavyweight fighter'. If Tyson Fury is a genuine all-time great Super Heavyweight fighter, then beating Oleksandr Uysk should be straight forward'.

Oleksandr Uysk is the most accomplished active fighter in the entire sport of boxing, and pound for pound 'His wins over both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, are the greatest feats of achievement in the sport of boxing in the last 15 years'.

But when we just analyse Oleksandr Uysk as a fighter, and his best attributes 'Tyson Fury at the very least outweigh's Uysk by 40 + pounds. Oleksandr Uysk is also not renowned for his punching power, or brute strength'.

So all you hardcore Tyson Fury fan's out there need to ask yourselves the question? How on earth is Tyson Fury in a 12 round fight, being backed up all night. And then smashed up in round 9 by Oleksandr Usyk? It is a stylistic match up, that a true all-time great Heavyweight fighter should win'.

The reason why Tyson Fury is finding the challenge of trying to beat Oleksandr Uysk extremely difficult 'Is because Tyson Fury's Athletic Skills and Athletic Athletic attributes. Are completely overrated'.

And I have stated this numerous times befor, during the build up to their first fight 'I told people that Tyson Fury may be the Super Heavyweight in this match up, but he is not the best athlete pound for pound in the fight. And this factor will show up, at some point in the fight'.

To conclude: Yes, but in regards to Mike Tyson and David Haye 'They are in my opinion, rated as elite level athletes in terms of athleticism who can also fight'.

A very accurate and simply way to understand which fighters are great athletes 'Is to hypothetically think, if they where not boxers. Could those fighters have the ability to excel in any other sports and athletic disciplines'.

Mike Tyson and David Haye could transfer their athletic abilities 'Into other sports in my opinion. It is a well known fact that David Haye, had great sprinting ability. Some of the workouts he used to endure at this peak, were extremely impressive'.

If Tyson Fury was not a boxer, could he excel in any other sports to a solid level? 'I don't think he is that level of fighter in terms of athleticism. I have never bought into the hype that Tyson Fury is some sort of genetic marvel, he is a great fighter with good level of athleticism. But I don't rate him as elite level athlete, in terms of his athleticism'.

The best Athlete in the Heavyweight Division right now, is still Anthony Joshua 'Joshua after the 2012 Olympic Games competed in a sporting competition called 'Super stars' were he compete against other Olympic athletes in various athletic disciplines 'From track and field athletics, swimming, cycling, gym amplitude tests, and skilled based events'. Anthony Joshua won the entire event against all other athletes in his group 'Anthony Joshua was the 2012 Superstars Champion'.

Somebody try and find me footage of Tyson Fury, performing any sort of athletic task in training or a fight 'Which jumps out at you, and makes you think? Wow this is abnormal. Tyson Fury is a great fighter, with good athletic abilities'.

But he is not in the same realm of ability, as Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Junior, Prince Naseem Hamed, Muhammad Ali, David Haye, Amir Khan the list goes on.

Mike Tyson and David Haye are both elite level athletes 'But Mike Tyson in certain areas of his game, the bars were just too high. Even for David Haye, who was a supreme athlete, one of the best and most talented fighters that British Boxing has produced in the past 30 years. But Mike Tyson is one of the best and most talented fighters that have ever competed in combat sports history' etc.
