Comments Thread For: Twin kings, Jaron 'Boots' Ennis and Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez happy to be sharing the main stage

Ahead of their bill-topping appearances in Philadelphia on Saturday, "Boots" and "Bam" have been speaking of their mutual appreciation. Jaron "Boots' Ennis will be the nominal main event, fighting in front of his own fans at the Wells Fargo Center, defending his IBF welterweight title against Karen Chukhadzhian, a man he has already comfortably beaten but who he has been mandated to fight once more.

Jesus H Chri.....how much did Dazn pay this website to traffic all these articles about these two that no one is reading or commenting on. How many articles about them being 'kings'. You're trying or manufacture a pair of stars instead of letting it happen organically. Here some advice: 1. Bam Rodriguez is a star....in Tempe, Arizona (where his people are). Anywhere east of the Mississippi he is unknown. 2. Boots is not a star because he is on Dazn whi h no one in America knows exist. Please Stop!!!

Boots did sell out the Wells Fargo Arena in Philly vs Avanesyan, and this card is happening at the same place. But yeah, he's not king of anything. Bam, on the other hand... Gotta be a bigot not to appreciate what he's already accomplished.

Am I the only person who misread the title as "Twink kings" when I saw the picture?...no disrespect to boots but it's far too early to call him king of anything, bam at least has some very impressive accomplishments, I can understand calling him a king but what exactly has Ennis done to justify such a lofty status? He's got an emailed IBF belt which I believe tops his list of credentials and would mean he shares one kingdom split with the other 100 "champions".

OK I see you MFers are trying to split the atom here. No! Bam IS NOT A STAR IN AMERICA! No one knows him outside of you people that watch midget wars. I can be unbiased and admit that Boota made a horrible move by aligning with Dazn. Even though Bam's move to Dazn was more shrewd because they are the o lyrics American company that invest in girls and midget boxing. But that still by no means .ages him a star. Period!

Should tell you something that nobody agrees with you. You don't even know where he comes from. He's from the seventh biggest city in the country, not from Tempe, and let me tell you that the average person in the grocery store in San Antonio absolutely knows who he is. Stop conflating your own bigoted attitude with that of everyone else.

I didn't know he's not from Tempe, AZ. I was just trying to be funny. Chill out pal! And I hate to say it but Bam and his city of San Antonio do share something in common: no one in America knows anything about them. Americans only know 3 things about that city 1) a 7 foot black guy from the west indies played basketball there 2) so did another black guy that was in the navy 3) and also an Argentinian guy....that's all I got champ!
