This will be interesting to see how he turns his career around after defeat, he certainly have loads of talent but can he bring it all together without getting clipped or behind, will he stop exchanging during times he shouldn't, has he learned to settle down and win rounds and the fight without going to war.

Honestly, I wasn't overly impressed with Raymond Ford at 126 against Edward Vazquez and Nick Ball. So I wonder how he fair against fighters closer to his size range, he might perform better when rehydrated properly.

He had a quite interesting bout against Otabek Kholmatov but the Uzbekistani didn't really accomplish much beforehand so it's difficult tor rate him. He had impressive athleticism and a long reach. But Kholmatov had stamina issues past the 6th round and didn't know how to fight any other way outside of fighting in the backfoot. He didn't know how to respond whenever Ford was close and personal.

Otabek also hurt his leg or foot early in that fight too so he was hobbled rather early

Think he mentioned that after the bout I think.

What I don't agree with is that after Ford had knocked down Otabek, the ref instead of taking the proper procedures, counted it as a slip despite that the Uzbekistani was quite stunned. Not letting him take a 10 countdown where he could recover until the last bell OR Ford could ended the bout without anyone questioning the outcome.

Then when Kholmatov attempted to create distance between the two trying to recover with Ford chasing him trying to close the show, the ref immediately stopped the fight. I mean it didn't help that he started to run as if his life depended on it.
