Does anyone else share my inkling that the Saudis objective has already been attained?

Seems as though they've already got what they came for: engagement with the Western public, a seat at the table of global sports promotions, increased visibility in order to fuel an increase in tourism & of course, the whole 'washing' thing.

Imho, everything after Fury vs Usyk is a bonus to them.

I will continue to say this until I am blue in the face. I love the sport of boxing, but I absolutely HATE the business side of it.

The issue is fans cry and complain about fights not being made but rush to order the next bullshh Canelo ppv, the next gervonta vs no hoper and then complain when someone says “f this” and forces fighters to actually fight. I’m glad the Saudis came in and stole the sport away, complain all you want about promoters, complain all you want about the saudis, it’s the fighters themselves who hold up fights. Floyd helped start this journey and Canelo finished digging the ditch with his bullshhh assssss overpriced and overpaid for fights. I hope the next generation grows a pair and realizes legacy comes first so they don’t end up like Floyd trying to steal attention long after their career is over because the public started forgetting them hella fast.
After reading this my assessment is you need to TURNDOWN! Lol nah I can appreciate your passion for the sport but I respectfully disagree to a certain extent. The Saudis have not "stolen" the sport of boxing from anywhere. They have put on fights mainly between east and west Euros. Those fights were naturally going to be way more successful in that region of the world so it is a good fit. PBC tried to put boxing back on prime time tv but America said no thanks because unfortunately this country would rather watch TOP CHEF and REAL HOUSEWIVES OF FUQKSVILLE on regular tv over boxing so PBC had to go back to the cable tv / PPV model because that's what works. And yes Floyd is trying to stretch his fame but he's not the only one. Have you seen the latest episode of CLAP BACK THURSDAY? Oscar playing a Joker is about as surreal as it gets!

Pbc is part of the problem, everyone thinks they are a star when they’ve done jack shhh. PBC is a bunch of signed dummies lapping up whatever Haymon sells them that benefits only pbc. Haymon paid Canelo how many millions to fight a bunch of bums yet has over 100 fighters whose careers he shelved. We are so enamored with America first we don’t even see how flkkkd up we made things. Everyone can’t be Floyd, everyone can’t be Canelo. Everyone at pbc in every division should’ve fought each other, they didn’t. We lost out on a lot of great fights while Haymon sat on his hands trying to leverage his business instead of the careers of good fighters. Some of yall need to get your heads out of his behind, the man has been good for only one boxer, Floyd. Becuase he leveraged the heck out of Floyd’s star power to build the house of cards called pbc. Oh and some of y’all counting on that Middle East money running out need a lesson in finance. That shhhh ain’t going nowhere because it’s part of raising their countries and regions profile.
"PBC is a bunch of signed dummies lapping up whatever Haymon sells them".....Ok let me finish this up for you with my own quotes ... "Matchroom is a bunch of signed dummies lapping up whatever Hearn sells them"..... "Top Rank is a bunch of signed dummies lapping up whatever Bob sells them" ...... "Golden Boy is a bunch of signed dummies lapping up whatever Oscar sells them" ..... we can do this all day. Every promotional company has an obligation to their network to sell their fighters as best they know how. It's called business my friend. "Everyone at PBC should've fought each other and they didn't"....WTF are you talking about? They gave us undisputed runs at 147, 154 and 168 which means everyone fought each other. They allowed their fighters to go to other networks like 1. Porter vs Crawford 2. Browne vs Beterbiev 3. Andy vs AJ .... and the list goes on. No other company allowed their guys to fight on PBC (except for Oscar but he kind of is PBC hehehehe). And if the Middle east money isn't running out then why is the Saudi Arabia wealth fund reducing it's investment in boxing from 30% to 18% going forward in 2025? Maybe you should try and read the entire article before posting that.........but I gotta ask this question.....

Why is your ire reserved for just Al Haymon and Floyd PPVweather? I mean what is it about those two that have you and your crowd so mad? I just can't put my finger on it. You seem to be pissed at PBC based off so much untrue and made up allegations but you don't have those same feelings for other groups. Why??? I mean DAZN told us a few years ago that they were (1) taking over boxing in America (2) 10 bucks a month (3) they were going to sign all American fighters and shut down the other companies (4) and most importantly PPV IS DEAD. Fast forward to 2024 and not only did they fail miserably at (1-3) but they are now putting on more PPV events than every other outfit combined. Where's the anger???? Where's the fire and brimstone??? At what point to you pull out your pitchforks for Dazn??? Yea you know what time it is. The funny thing is just because you don't want to acknowledge it doesn't mean the powers that be won't acknowledge it. They all know that Eddie Hearn is a bumbling fool that fuqked up a billion dollars and lied to the American fanbase. They know Dazn even with the backing of Turki-boy has no chance at taking over boxing in America. When will you finally be real with yourself???

I'm not ignoring PBC's rollout which looks like it will be 2025 with Tank and the Davids. Just like I'm not ignoring the business side of the other networks too. Top rank has a few B level shows but that's not going to be enough to satisfy ESPN. Loma is semi retired, they lost Bud and Shakur and it looks like lil ugly ass Teo won't be fighting there anymore. They are trying to push Abdullah (whom I love) Keyshawn and Muratella but that's not enough. GBP have been reduced to 'Latino nights in Fallujah' which is equivalent to a boxing circus like "Mike Tyson vs a sumo wrestler'. Matchroom is ending the year with Euro fights in Europe (as they should) and a card in Philly that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE in this country even knows is happening. Boots was primed to be the next big thing in America and he's fighting against a bytch he already whooped with a co main that features a lil guy that should be fighting in the southwest US only. So yes I have noticed their rollout and like I have been screaming for the last ten years that no company inAmerica is going to be smooth sailing until they come under one network. GBP TR PBC on Amazon Prime is the only way this shyte will work. If that doesn't happen then we will be having these discussions for the foreseeable future my friend!

Yup!! Formula1 racing, The futbol world cup, Pro tennis, UFC and golf are all sports that thrive outside of America. But they're biting off more than they can chew with sports that thrive primarily in America. The NFL NBA MLB NHL will only work in America and you can throw boxing in there as well. Boxing is a regional sport that thrives in the US and UK only. Vegas is and will always be KING. I don't care how much people wish that will change it will not!!
