Great news! Congratulations to all these young warriors!

It has always been a "tough sell" to get young people to box in a free market nation with no government reward for doing so, and the ever present opportunity to turn professional and be paid; or play an easier sport like Football, Wrestling or Baseball.
However; the national and international amateur system is the best way there is, for a boxing apprentice to hone the skill that will provide a formula for success in the pros; and if amateur boxing is to survive and thrive, it will be through the efforts of USA Boxing, and programs like the World Boxing U19 Championships.
