As Eddie Hearn says to other Promoters, if you want Teo to fight Catterall, be prepared to make a substantial offer. But, since Hearn doesn’t promote anymore as Turki’s lap dog, he better start kissing Turki’s arse a lot more so Turki can pay the tab again.

Whoever wrote this article must be a Matchroom surrogate because this was a typical Catterall track meet. If Hearn were to match Catterall v Shakur, the venue would need to be at a track and field venue as he now has two of boxing’s most boring fighters in his stable.

Short of Turki paying for it, I cannot see Teo willing to fight Catterall. Like many people pointed out Catterall is a runner and Teo does not deal very well with that style. Also Teo is looking up, not down, meaning he is looking for big fish (other champions) that can generate the kind of purse he is looking for. He is not looking for contenders who do not have a lot to offer to him.
