Sending Campbell out to spar in tough gyms in the states or Mexico? FFS, he isn’t Dennis Andries or Andy Lee, he’d be eaten alive! I think the kid needs to take a break and think about why he’s doing this. Is it approval from his dad or uncle or some chivalrous notion of keeping the Hatton name alive or what? I’m in a minority of, well probably almost everyone on the planet, in not liking Eddie Hearn but I think his analysis was completely correct. Campbell is area level. He might, conceivably, get an opportunity to fight for the British or commonwealth title, if he does it probably won’t end well. If he understands he is area level and wants to fight on anyway then good luck to the lad

He's lucky he was fighting a pillow puncher! If he fought someone with power, he would have already been slept! He doesn't hit hard enough to fight the way he does! His father should beg him to retire before he gets hurt! His uncle was even better!

He's only 23, he could spend the next couple of years on small-hall shows where he can develop his craft away from the pressure of the spotlight. That's what he needs in my opinion. I don't mean in order to become a future world champ, I just mean to get the most out of himself in the sport, whatever level that ends up being at.

They drastically need to improve his footwork. There's no bounce, no liveliness, he fights like he's stuck in the mud. Footwork was one of Ricky's best qualities, everything came off of it. It's as though Campbell's trying to fight like his dad without fully understanding what made him so good.
