I cannot say I enjoyed the fight very much. It was a very low contact affair in the first six rounds mainly due to Catterall running backwards and avoiding the action. In the end he probably deserved a win but, in my opinion, the scores were too wide to justify such a lack of action and clean punching from either fighter. Many rounds were very difficult to score because nobody landed anything of significance or perhaps they both landed 1 or 2 clean shots. Caterall finally came to life in round nine and scored two knockdowns and just when you thought he was going to go after Regis took his foot off the gas again even though Prograis was clearly struggling with injured leg or perhaps foot towards the end.

Maybe we needed uncle Bob to make a cameo appearance and throw a tantrum over home town scoring.

I tip my hat to Regis for fighting a very game and courageous fight. He has regained a lot of my respect now by finally acknowledging and admitting that he is simply no longer the same fighter.

I thought he was awfully gracious in defeat and performed a lot better in his last two outings just as I predicted. Now as far as Catterall is concerned; I cannot see him defeating any of the current titleholders.

After struggling with Prograis; A wash up and ruined fighter. i just don't see how he fares any differently against Teofimo Lopez, Liam Paro, Alberto Puello, Richard Hitchens or the Devin Haney's of the world.

I thought he performed worse in this fight than in both of his fights with Josh Taylor combined.

Good performance by Catterall, deserves a shot at the Paro/Hitchins winner as he really should be undefeated. Also I would favor him against Teo due to his style, as much as I like Teo.

Onwards and fowards for Catterall, a frustrating fighter to watch, the score cards were shocking, but the knock downs secured the win, he won't get the rub of the green fighting away from home, but he will be difficult to beat.

Regis was very gracious in defeat, he came to win and it showed, good luck to him in the future, he has nothing to prove.

Prograis, please retire. Your best years are gone. Don’t look to a future of being a stepping stone for matchroom up and comers

I don't know what was harder to watch.....Catterall running backwards or Prograis missing wide.

My hometown edge calculation was correct. Darn near official. 4 points from the start and big ring room to move too. Cat has a Tszue like persona, there is a Florida waiting for him.
