  • Comments Thread For: Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis make weight ahead of Saturday's fight

Save for an eleventh-hour hiccup, it appears as though super lightweights Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis will at last share a ring on Saturday (October 26) in Manchester.

thought Jack looked really dry at the weigh in may just have a few pennies on Regis stoppage(even though he has seen better days)

Regis got buddy roughed last time in the UK. I'm not saying it was a bad call, it was a bad experience. He doesn't want to leave it like that. He's going back to fix it.

Anyone who thinks Catterall is losing to shot, overrated Prograis needs their head examined.

The only thing Cat has is he's home. He's no Haney and Rou can box a bit. Cat hasn't the stopping power, so I look for a decision. Rooroo has more power in my mind, but a big ring could wet his powder.

Honestly do not have much of a feel on this fight. Probably because I want Prograis to win so it is clouding my judgement. I do know a loss for Catterall would not be nearly as bad to his career as a loss would be to Prograis. So if desperation = bring out your best, Prograis will throw everything he has left in the tank to win this. Catterall had better have trained for this fight like he is facing prime Prograis, not a faded one.

RouRou almost got stopped in the 9th. Dropped twice by a guy with power similar to Haney's. In other words, RouRou is getting dropped by guys who can't punch. I'm surprised Catterall didn't shut him out. That was the only shock.
