Holyfield is, was, and always has been a dirty fighter. In nearly all his fights he comes in with his head down in attempts to head but the other fighter. It happened in the Tyson fight also and the referee was letting Holyfield get away with it.....and that pissed Tyson off....hence the two bites. I can still see Holyfield jumping up and down....like a little b*tch. Mills Lane should have disqualified his @ss for the head buts.
Bull****.
Tyson was guilty of just as much fouling in his career.
The 'baddest man on the planet' resorted to biting, and headbutting and whining to the ref when things werent going his way.
Cuts happen in boxing, but poor baby Tyson couldnt handle it.
He was a ***** for fighting bums to make himself look 'bad', then got his ass exposed by the better fighter in Holyfield.
Twelve years since the infamous "bite fight," heavyweights Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield appeared live on the Oprah Winfrey show and shook hands as friends. Holyfield told the live audience that he has forgiven Tyson for biting him during their rematch. The fighters spoke about their rivalry that began when both of them were competing to make the 1984 Olympic boxing team. [details]
That's pretty ****en stand up from both these Kats....Im diggin' these good vibes all the way around......but why the **** they do this on Operha's show???

You guys are the biggest morons on the planet. In his prime-which we never really saw because he was a kid when he became champion, and then fired his crew after beating Spinks-he was the most skilled, the most athletic, and perhaps the most complete heavyweight fighter in history.
Clearly, Tyson underestimated Holyfield in their first fight, and therefore, didn't prepare properly. No excuse for that. As a result, he was getting beaten. However, he started to gain momentum in the 5th round after landing a body shot-uppercut combo that rattled Holyfield. Immediately after this event, Holyfield leads with his head and scores a massive cut over Tyson's eye. For the remainder of the fight, it obviously bothered his vision, and even his consciousness. He was flat, and borderline wobbly the remainder of the contest.
In the second fight, it started out good for Holyfield in the first round. The second round was pretty even, but another headbutt by Holyfield scores another cut. When Tyson complains to the official, he gets no help. So what happens? Tyson comes out in the 3rd and starts pounding Holyfield. He backed him into a corner and started landing. The crowd even starts chanting "Tyson! Tyson!" After another headbutt, Tyson throws the fight away by biting his ear.
Was the bite justified? Of course not. But Holyfield is the one who buckled under resistance. The moment Tyson applied any pressure in both fights, Holyfield resorted to dirty tactics to set off a loose cannon that he knew he could get disqualified.
Watch the fights and know what you are talking about before regurgitating sound-bytes that hold no water, idiots.

lol...complete?? People criticise Floyd for fighting weak opposition to look good, but Tyson was 'complete' when KOing poor opposition??

The cut was small, thats no excuse.
He had a decent 5th round.....but that was it. He was poor before, and **** after. A one dimensional fighter.
The clash of heads was an accident.

The butt was unintentional. What was the ref meant to do?
Fighter get cut all the time, they dont blame the ref or call their opponents cheats and start biting ears! lol
They fight back.
Tyson didnt land much in any round. He was being backed up and hit.
Tyson knew he was losing and took the cowards way out.
Holyfield kept boxing even though he had just had his ear bitten off.

Name calling makes u sound like Tyson is ur sugar daddy.
Holyfield didnt 'buckle under pressure'. He fought his fight from round 1.
Show me a clip where Holyfield INTENTIONALLY butts Tyson. We have all watched these fights many times, and ive never seen Holyfield butt him on purpose.
Ur making excuses for Tyson. Why doesnt every fighter who gets cuts or butted start biting their opponents?
PS Prime vs Prime, i have Tyson KOing Holyfield. Im just saying Tyson has no excuses for the way he acted. He took the cowards way out.
Yet i have seen Tyson butting, elbowing, punching after the bell, even trying to break his opponents arm.
Tyson looked great beating sub-par opponents, so we dont know how good he really was.
so what if Holyfield is a dirty fighter! He is an expert at using his head.if you can get away with it all the power to you.golota was dirty as well.Tyson was no saint either in the ring.I'm just glad they made up.2 trouble men that made like 5-600 million between them & are now broke almost.2 of the greatest ever!
