Those aren't examples at all. You're missing what I am saying. I am saying that there are no fights where right after the first fight that they announced or planned that a rematch would have to take place a whole year later and people would have to wait - unless there was an injury. Teams will talk about rematches but not stipulate that the rematch has to take place a whole year later. THAT is what I'm talking about. This is why people are pissed off. Either a rematch is signed quickly, or not long after the first fight, or they come around to it after one or both fighters takes on other fights first, or pressure mounts and fans demand for a rematch and they finally stage the rematch. No one says "In one year there will be a rematch".

IBF mandatory defence of the title is next for Artur. Simple as that. I don't know what is next for Bivol but It would be good that he fight's someone before rematch in October 2025Comment
