Probably not. At the end Bakhram was telling him to stay down, out of genuine compassion I think. Probably some Russian camaraderie. It’s the ultimate humiliation to have your opponent take pity on you in the ring. He should probably look elsewhere, and if he can rise again and their paths cross, yes, take the rematch when he’s back on a high. What do you think?

Tbf I never was high on Tim Tszyu. Always fought he was a bit reckless and when he fought someone who could really wack at 154lbs he'd be in trouble. He was just absolutely eaten there by Murtazaliev. Literally got caught same punches over and over and didn't even try to adjust.. but Murtazaliev looks like a legit fighter at 154lbs. Like to see him against the likes of Ortiz or Crawford. Think he deserves it after a performance like that
That ref had def been told not to stop Tsyzu. Let him go when other guys would have been stopped. Still on wobbly legs after he rose multiple times. Only the towel coming in - finally got it stopped!Comment

He acted like Billy badass because he didn’t want to work with him? Strange comment man. Turki isn’t entitled to have whatever he wants.Comment

He was making fun of the shiek because he didn't get what he wanted. Tim got a second shot at a title that most thought he would win. He got utterly embarrassed, fought a m o r o n i c fight, and now he is playing the part of the kid without the lollipop. He will have to work alot at 30 to come back from this.
Because most people saw the Fundora loss as a freak occurrence and most thought Tim would win if not for the cut.....this fight was no freak occurrence. He got badly exposed and in retrospect his arrogance concerning that comment has backfired on him. If he had just gotten beat, ok.
He basically made fun of a guy who tried to sign him to the biggest fight of his career for a huge payday, he balked and then made fun of him, and then proceeded to not just get beat, but made to look like an idiot. He lost alot of money in order to get majorly f'ed up.
Pretty rough.Comment

Tim is overrated. This was just a matter of time. This is the fight that Charlo should have taken if he was smart.
While I believe the stoppage would have been inevitable, I have a problem when a fight is stopped while a fighter is punching back.

What counter argument do I need?
This goes for greeneye99 too. I told you he was overhyped and that there was nothing special about him.
I was right. Deal with it, loser.Comment

I don’t think the risk is that big for Crawford. A limited Tszyu could have done better with a smarter approach. Bud would go in prepared and with the right plan, make adjustments on the fly if needed, and use his superior skills. It would be relatively easy work imo. Mur was good last night, but he was also made to look good by TszyuComment
