Yeah, he needs ALOT of work defensively offensively he is pretty good but as it was already mentioned in this thread he is trying to hard to be tough. He maybe could have turned things around if he got on his bike, took a longer count a could times, held more to clear his head and tried to adjust.Comment

This was sad. Wtf happened to Tim ? It seemed like his reactions and his thinking were slow. And he had no defense, no head movement, no feints. He didn't start to try to use his jab until after he got hurt and dropped. He threw a few body jabs before that, but his head movement was non-existent. It seemed like his brain was fixated on just walking Murtazaliev down and head hunting with no regard for defense. It was like watching Kostya Tszyu get hit repeatedly with clean, flush right hands by Vince PhillipsComment

154lb division has always been a wild west division. Remember like 4 years ago it a new champion every year. I think its over for Tim, he can definitely go back to Australia and collect a few check but man that's a bad way to go out. Should had stopped his last fight with that cut. Crazy how one thing can change your whole life.Comment

I believe Tim wanted to show his father Kostya who has not attended his sons fight since Tim’s pro debut that he has the Tszyu genes. Tim walked into punches with his hands down against a sledge hammer and paid the price. Honestly, I didn’t see this coming. I hope he takes time off and works on his defense because he is a warrior. Congratulations to Murtazaliev who has a bright future after such an impressive win.Comment
