Beautiful fight, loved it. One of the best of the year. But why is the report of the fight so late here on boxing scene?

Saavedra won that fight. They stole that from him.

There's no way that fight was a Draw. The Aussie clearly lost that fight hands down even with all the excessive holding he was doing.

The man was dropped to the canvas three times. Both the referee and the doctors were coaching him by allowing him extra time to recover because they were partial.

Saavedra got robbed but I think that he will end up better off in a couple of ways. He will get a better payday to beat the same guy up again. He should push to have the rematch in Australia where he can maximize his payday. People enjoyed his fight and he is no longer anonymous to U.S. fight fans.
On a side note , it's really nice what Uzcategui has done for this guy and his family. What a good dude. I'm glad that we were told that story. That kindness has made a fan out of me.

What an exciting matchup! Tapia and Saavedra really put on a show, and it's great to see such a thrilling fight kick off the new deal with Amazon Prime. A majority draw can be just as entertaining as a win, especially when both fighters give it their all. Looking forward to more fights like this!

It sounds like this fight was an absolute nail-biter! A majority draw always leaves fans debating who had the edge. Props to both Tapia and Saavedra for putting on such an exciting show. Curious to hear what others thought—was the draw the right call?
