He is a two division lineal champion, like Inoue and Usyk, but Crawford is a three division lineal champion.

The Golovkin saga will always be a permanent stain on Canelo's legacy.

First he vacated the WBC title to duck Golovkin.
Then he waited a year and got a gift draw in a fight he clearly lost in the first fight.
Then he popped for PEDs before the rematch, causing the fight to be delayed and the aging Golovkin to essentially waste a camp on Martirosyan.
Then he finally fought the rematch and was handed a gift win in another fight he clearly lost.
Then he waited four years and dragged the ancient Golovkin up to 168 for the trilogy. He actually did win that fight, but everyone knows the real story.

Do you understand how linear time works? People age forwards at a rate of... one year per year. Try to keep up.

And no, Golovkin looked old against Derevyanchenko, Szeremeta, and Murata as well. Everyone noticed at the time of those fights and it was a topic of discussion. It's just that the faded version of him was enough to beat those guys. It's why even the people who acknowledge that GGG won the first two fights expected Canelo to win the third, which he did.

Usyk is a heavyweight now, but he started at cruiserweight. Where he was undisputed champion of the world. Then he moved to heavyweight and became undisputed champion of the world again. Pretty impressive when only two divisions were available to him, whereas Canelo has fought in four divisions and only been undisputed in one.

Beterbiev's best win is Bivol, who whooped Canelo's ass. That one was easy. His second best win was against Gvozdyk to claim the oldest active lineage in boxing going all the way back to Dawson v Pascal 14 years ago. Not even sure why you brought him up since we were talking about Inoue, Crawford, and Usyk but there you go.

Crawford's best wins are Errol Spence Jr to become undisputed and lineal at welterweight, Israil Madrimov to win a title in his fourth division at super welterweight, Viktor Postol to become unified and lineal at super lightweight, Ray Beltran to become lineal at lightweight, Ricky Burns to win his first world title, and Shawn Porter in a welterweight title defense.

        1) IDGAF
        2) No one said shlt about GGGeezer's age when fought all of those BUMS. Only when he fought Nelo. And that's a fact. You can cry about it NOW, but it's too late
        3) Usyk is on the fence with his eligibility.
        4) Beter has but 1 good W

Good list. My only gripes would be having Tank there, since he barely fought anyone of note, Haney since he got annihilated by Ryan, and Canelo being so high after the crap fights he's taken recently.

How would you rate Inoues, Buds and Benny's recent opps ?
Prior to Biv, did Beter take on tough guys ?

I'm legit scratching my head what you're getting at .. uhm.. yeah, all 3 of them fought way better opposition than Canelo.

Inoue moved up and KOd Fulton, followed by KOing Nery. Both easily Top3 in the division.
Crawford KOd Spence, a top10 P4P fighter, then moved up and beat one of the top guys at 154 in Madrimov.
Benavidez KOd Andrade, a top fighter in the division, followed up by moving up and beating Gvozdyk, former LHW King who lost it to Beterbiev.

Canelo's last 5 are terrible. He finally took a 3rd fighter against Golovkin who was 40, followed by John Ryder who was barely top10 (maybe?) and is now retired, then he dragged a 154 pounder up two divisions, took a fight against Munguia.. who.. urgh, Munguia is terrible and was made for Canelo, but fine, he was a "good" opponent on paper. Lastly, he beat Berlanga who barely started fighting 12 rounders.
