Is Bam Rodriguez's resume criticism quite valid to say it's inferior to Nakatani's?

I can't deny that he's definitely missed out on potential better opponent, being that no one really enjoys fighting a tall lanky southpaw with power. In fact Takuma actually would've been his best opponent to date if he got the unification next spring but that boat already sank before it went underway. I really hope Teiken can raise the purse toward Nishida to convince him to do an unification with him next.

One thing I'm still hold petty bitterness toward Ioka for vacating the WBO to dodge the Nakatani mandatory, so he can have a rematch with Joshua Franco for a vacant WBA belt. I appreciate Ioka as a boxer overall and what he has accomplished is certainly a notable note in the history of Japanese Boxing but regardless of what reasons he gave and what his fans say, that was definitely a blatant duck of Nakatani.

        I already said too much.

Just remember what I posted when it happens.

        Plus.
You're way off saying Olascuaga woud receive a beating from Bam.

        But I guess we'll see.
Well if it is not US or Japan that really leaves Saudi, UK, or Australia for a location that could actually support a fight that can pay enough to make sense so out of those three I'd guess Saudi then. Anything out of the box is possible with money, and right now Bam nor Olascuaga aren't that big of a money tree so they can afford it I'd guess. UK probably would rather throw Sunny Edwards on Olascuaga if they can get him on a card and Australia probably would throw Andrew Moloney on one of them (he's mentioned he'd go down to 112 if the opportunity for a world title came around). Unless for some reason Mexico decides to consider them their Hispanic brothers or something and Canelo decides puts them on his undercard with lots of money but that is unlikely.

I just would be a tad bit underwhelmed if Bam's next fight after Guevara was not the winner of Martinez-Ioka rematch and indeeds ends up being Olascuaga. Granted if Olascuaga were to actually upsets Bam, I'd be happy for him and it will also indirectly raise Teraji's value so that will work out finely too. I really think Kenshiro is underrated overall, I'd say right now he's definitely the 3rd best Japanese boxing P4P after Inoue and Nakatani, and closer to 2nd place than the 4th place.
