    He's not burning anything.
If Tim felt that Turkey was offering him anything of real value, he would work with him.

Never sneer at the man signing big checks. Tim seems to believe he's accomplished more than he has in the sport. Another loss today and all that Aussie support could dry up fast.

You are not a ga-zillionaire that's using your own personal money to "make the best fight the best". Tim (like most other boxers) has a team of financial weathermen that can predict the forecast for their fighter. They crunch the numbers and can tell if it's going to be sunny or rainy. They have predicted that if they do business with the Turkster then they can expect a colossal monsoon followed by a slight touch of hurricane and ending with an earthquake. Turki has funny money because once the King of Saudi decides to shut down the boxing money then the fighters that are with Turki will be shyte out of luck!

I'll just add this thought about Tim ZOO -

More often than not, the sons of elite fighters who turn pro either disappoint or can't reach the levels of success their fathers did.
Chavez Jr, Witherspoon, Mosley, Benn, Eubanks, Marvis Frazier, Hector Camacho, Jr....and it is what it is. Kudos to them for trying to fill big shoes.

Tim Zoo might separate himself from that pack and fight his way to success that matches or even exceeds that of his father. I hope so.
The more I see and hear from this guy, the more I like him as a fighter and competitor.

Say whatever you want, but with Turki still being the biggest paycheck provider in the heavier half of boxing and Crawford seemingly only willing to chase big checks now with legacy being second, I hope Tszyu has a good source of funding to lure Crawford when the time comes.

I'm not saying Turki will deliberately prevent an unification, but suppose Tszyu defeats Murtazaliev then Fundora next spring to get three belts, and offers...say, 10 mil guaranteed to Crawford for undisputed fight next summer. However, if Turki offers Crawford to fight Virgil Ortiz for 20 mil voluntary defense, I can totally see Crawford going for the latter.

Numbers are random but you get the point.

I applaud Tim for having a moral compass and not allowing a Saudi dictator who thinks he can buy anyones soul with their blood money.

PBC having Tszyu fight in Florida however is nonsensical. PBC like Matchroom before is on a tight budget and would prefer to get free rooms and meals and have their fighters fight in a ballroom when they should have fought in Australia in front of a sold out stadium.

Tickets for the Tszyu fight are advertised on Facebook for $1. That shows the lack of interest and foolish staging of the fight by PBC in Florida where Tszyu has no following.

We don't NEED Turkey and his kind. We just like the somewhat better undercards.
                  Pfffft.

No argument about promoters not always putting the best interests of the sport (meaning: making the best fights possible to determine the best fighters in each weight class at every opportunity), regardless of who they may be. That's always been a part of boxing.
What's different about Turkey is the agenda of the House of Saud monarchy of Arabia, whom Turkey represents. They are meddling in boxing for political purposes and not to make money or better the sport itself. Some call it sportswashing.
It's not illegal but one could make a good argument that it is sinister.
