Title should say Team Bivol files protest... Bivol himself wouldn't go that low and frankly he knows what happened more than anybody else ...

Opposing counsel has the best witness in Bivol himself who clearly did not complain about the decision. in his post fight ring interview.

For Pat English to even think the decision will be overturned shows you what an ambulance chaser of a lawyer he is. Boxer’s wake up and stop throwing away your money. If your attorney convinces you that you have a good case, tell him to take the case on contingency and watch how fast he/she declines.

Sadly, many boxers have people on their team who just go the lawyer route because it’s not their money. If anyone advising Bivol to pay Pat English, fire that person immediately. Better yet, tell that individual to put up his or her money and you will pay them back if they win the case. Watch how fast English doesn’t agree to contingency and watch how fast whoever is advising you to hire English will not put up his/her money with the agreement you will reimburse that person if English is successful in overturning the decision.

The mere fact that Pat English is billing you for this BS shows what an ambulance chaser of a lawyer he is.

Be on the look out for this from Pat English. He might tell you he has a 50/50 chance of winning the case , but it’s more important to get the public’s opinion on your side and that will force the sanctioning organizations to overturn the decision which will NEVER happen without a quid pro quo, which would be illegal.

They should rematch. Fight got postponed the first time around so if they go into a rematch both guys should be sharper. One thing for sure is that Bivol really felt it on the body and could not really hurt Beterbiev. He would have to stay active the whole fight with the pivots and the jabs that were so effective the first tree rounds. Beterbiev just has to go for it, he is really strong but Bivol never panic and was aware throughout the fight.

I definitely would watch again.

Great fight! Really close, could go either way. Talk of Beterbiev's punches being ineffective have been completely overruled by Bivol's face! Look at both fighter's after the fight and Bivol looked like he had been mugged and Beterbiev looked like he had'nt taken a punch. On that alone Beterbiev won the fight. Punch count was about the same but the damage caused by Beterbiev was far, far greater. Bivol basicly ran backawards for most of the fight and was the reason he was unable to cause any significant damage. If you score mileage gone while back pedaling then Bivol clearly won that stat.

It was a close fight and I think if Bivol didn’t just stand there at times and let Artur throw he would have won. You say that based of bivol face he lost, but that is not how a fight is scored. It’s based off clean effective punches and it that category it was about the same. Artur threw more but a lot of those were shoulder or arm punches.

I don't agree with the 116-112 card , but honestly, it's not that big of a deal. It's just two rounds off of a draw and three from a Bivol win. We see a lot worse cards every weekend.

Bivol is being a baby. He should have done better and avoided more of Beterbiev's punches. Bivol lost.

If you watch it again you will see many punches from Biev were landing through the guard, or just partially blocked.

It isn't the amateurs. Running to not get hurt and pitty pat flurries don't count as much in the pros as pressing the action, hard shots, aggressivevness. And Artur blocked many Bivol shots as well and boxed very well.
