It will be quite interesting considering that Spence could be rejuvenated and perform better.
But it could be quite a difficult fight if someone review's Fundora's fights prior Tszyu. Spence will still be fighting a physically bigger opponent.
Fundora is a very rangy in-figther that's won't let Spence pull away with his reach, will match his work rate and can catch him coming in with his uppercuts like Lubin.
He is uncomfortable fighting big punchers, but not so sure with other pressure fighters. (Not that Errol is featherfisted) He might be more difficult than Yordenis Ugas.
He's been off feeling sorry for himself and licking his wounds the last 2 years. He doesn't even have a trainer.
He'll come back for sure for financial reasons. He's been railing about the cost of sanctioning fees, then we later found he's not happy with the cost of training expenses. Which resulted in his very public squabble with James which has been going on for years as people found out also.

Spence is overall more skilled, but yeah he shouldn't be the favorite in this bout, specially considering his current circumstances he is coming from and the opponent has the qualities that could beat him, specially considering he fairs better against southpaws.
Honestly I don't think deserves a immediate title shot after coming of a loss from another weight class.
Favorite? He shouldn't be getting a title shot at all lol! we agree on that much at least lol
Still not convinced it happens though, he does't have a trainer, he's just sitting at home.
I think it is already scheduled for early 2025 and will happen, but with the lack of dedication and preparation, coming off a loss and coming up at a division where big punchers like Ortiz Jr and Crawford quite struggled in their first bouts makes me skeptical.
A southpaw with a definitive reach advantage that can withstand more punishment than Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter or Yordenis Ugas is going to be a nightmare. He is basically bean pole whose difficult to hurt to the body or at least never has been so far though not for the lack of trying, and I don't see Spence catching him like heavy handed counter puncher like Brian Mendoza, who he himself was losing the match 5-2 or 6-1.
Tim Tszyu was the one who beat him more clearly, until the cut, the win decision was debatable but at least it displayed that Sebastian's chin is no liability, Mendoza just had the right timing and ability to pull it off.
