Comments Thread For: Liam Williams announces his retirement at 32, citing a fear of CTE as a contributing factor

good for him. He's still pretty young with a family and I imagine he's made decent money in his career to fall back on and he can definitely go onto other ventures.. he was getting to the point where he was just being fed to these up and coming guys as a former British champion/world title challenger and it's not worth it especially with repeat concussions your just asking to get damage at that point.

Wise decision…he’s had a RESPECTABLE career having only lost to world champions like Smith & Andrade or top contenders like Eubank Jr & Sheeraz. Not everybody is destined to be a world champion (Michael Conlan take note)!

Very wise but I have a question about a partner, what’s his name? I’m just not use to straight men using that term.
