    I think it's a mental thing. He was a major underdog in that Taylor fight. He Fought the fight of his life and got robbed. He probably doesn't think he has another lucky fight in him. He's like the opposite of george kambosos jr. Kambosos believed his luck was skills and never beaten another skilled level fighter after that night. Maybe Jack nows he really got lucky that night and he isn't that good. I honestly believe in him but I dont think he believes in himself.

      That's very possible, but he really owned Taylor that first fight. Taylor was undefeated and in his prime.
