    From what I see it's 50/50.

Either he's really overrated or really underrated.

People think he's got no skills etc.

Others think he has the style to wear down anybody.

Froch is a tough guy with a good punch and chin but he is limited and will at some point be outboxed Taylor was only a round away from it.

There is a possibility that he has been hyped up. He was losing against Taylor when he scored that ko. But it also shows that he's got something very few of today's generation of fighters have-the ability to turn the fight to his favor in a matter of minutes. In other words, he turned defeat into victory in the last round. Pretty admirable, that is.

So what if he has a poor defence, and weak footwork. Froch is a very exciting, throwback fighter, who loves to battle. To put it simply, I would rather watch Froch, than Mayweather or Hopkins. This is boxing, not tag. He is a credit to the sport and deserves all the praise and recognition that he has recieved, or is going to recieve. Win or lose on Sunday morning, he won't lose my respect.
Thats his problem though, badmouthing Calzaghe has lost him a lot of fans.
It looks like his fans are only in Nottingham.

I doubt he will ever make a PPV.

Do you know what time the fight starts Sunday morning?

I think he's just getting the credit that i think he deserves now but a lot of people seem to have just jumped on the bandwagon recently, I remember when only people like me and you and black.ink were the only people on here talking about him, The rest if they were not licking Hatton's behind then they would be Joe Calzaghe......

Still i think people are now taking it up a bit too much in terms of hype..

I dont mind him berating Joe for fighting Hopkins and RJJ, We all know he's doing that because he wanted to fight Joe, I even seem to remember him been talked about as an opponent for Hopkins so you cant really take what he said seriously because if you did then you would have to question why Joe C said he would never fighting RJJ because he's shot to pieces then went ahead and fought him.

Its nothing against Froch it just seems he has turned up near the top of the SMW division for no genuine reason.

He lost at l east 8 rounds to Taylor, and he did pull through rhe last round and KO him, but even with a 10-8 for that round, if it went the distance he would of lost a UD.

Before that he beat Pascal who was basically a nobody and not world class at SMW standards.

So since he was entered into the Super6 he is one of the hot favourites to win.

Bearing in mind what he has actually acheived at SMW , it isnt much at all.

A washed up Taylor, losing 2 out of his last 3 to Pavlik, one being a KO. Only win from a muchly overrated Lacy.

Im not hating on Froch as its the fans/media that hype him up, but really, does he deserve this much 'hyping'??

iv not seen much hype on froch. he isnt the best in the world, but hes not bad. i dont think he will win the super 6.

I'm a big froch fan but he lacks a solid defence which is why i would favor guys like kessler and maybe ward to beat him.
