    the commission is a joke, what state is this again? the feds should shut down their sporting commission for sanctioning this money grab.

      It's just showbiz and everyone is eating it up and making him rich. And mind you Mike Tyson will probably make more money off this circus than he made in any of his prime title fights. The problem is people are looking at this through the same lens as when Canelo picks his next opponent. It's not. It's two guys having fun and striking a nerve with fans and that equals making some serious money. The only problem I have with it is the very real chance of Mike Tyson getting seriously hurt.

          Boxing is only ever one punch away from tragedy. It's been a while since we had a high profile one. And profile does, unfortunately, make a difference.

          I think they're increasing the likelihood of that happening. High profile due to the broad appeal of the combatants, increased chance of tragedy due to the age of one and the inexperience of the other.

          The Holyfield 'event' was just horrific to see. Thank God he couldn't stay on his feet otherwise we might have seen a 60 year old put in a coma.
